The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has carried out a training program on Sewerage Maintenance and Management Engineers.
This training program is open to those involved in sewerage projects in the major cities of Asia, and -- through lectures or inspection tours of facilities and passing on the cutting-edge initiatives the Tokyo Metropolitan Government carries out in the field of sewerage maintenance management – is held with the objective of aiming to raise the technical standard across all of Asia.
This training program welcomed two trainees from Bangkok, who undertook lectures about such subjects as water reclamation centers and cutting edge technologies used with the maintenance and management of water pipes. There were also inspection tours of facilities.
