The 7th Asian Crisis Management Conference held in Tokyo

The Asian Network of Major Cities 21 (ANMC21) held the 7th Asian Crisis Management Conference in Tokyo from August 30 to September 1, 2009.
This year’s conference was held under the theme of “Crisis Management in Large Cities in the Event of a Large-scale Disaster.” About 70 experts took part, including such participants as representatives from seven cities (Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Singapore, Taipei and Tokyo) and 13 foreign embassies located in the capital. This is a result that reflects the high amount of interest in the subject within each city.
