[October 31, 2008]
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is conducting a project to cultivate highly capable personnel who will contribute to the development of Asia. As part of this program, foreign students came to the Tokyo Metropolitan University to conduct research that contributes to urban development in Asia as well as to the resolution of Asia’s urban problems.

At present a total of three students from Singapore, Jakarta, and Hanoi are currently in Japan and working daily on their research.

Updates on the students’ research and lives in Japan will be introduced in the online newsletter “Interaction Asia”.
